Position 1: Housekeeper

As a Housekeeper, you will ensure that our care centres are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness, helping to create a comfortable and hygienic environment for our residents. You’ll be proactive in managing daily tasks and committed to delivering quality service in alignment with Sundale’s values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all areas are clean and comply with infection control policies.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing.
• Maintain and stock cleaning supplies and keep equipment in good working order.
• Respond to resident requests regarding cleanliness and hygiene.
• Observe and report maintenance issues.
• Dispose of waste following standard procedures.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement activities and maintain documentation for cleaning schedules and audits.

Position 2: Kitchen Assistant

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the Kitchen Team Leader, Cook, and Site Manager in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents. You’ll assist with food preparation and kitchen hygiene, ensuring our consumers enjoy nutritious and well-presented meals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and beverages.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Maintain food safety standards by labelling food items and managing stock rotation.
• Operate dishwashers and maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas.
• Contribute to compliance with Sundale’s Food Safety Program and aged care standards.
• Help ensure meals meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
• Provide input to support cost-effective catering service delivery.

Essential Requirements:

• Police Check
• Pre-employment medical assessment
• Prior experience in a similar role in an aged care setting is highly desirable.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and stock management.
