About the role

As a Kitchen Hand at HPK you will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen team to prepare and deliver high-quality meals and catering services. This is a casual position based in Burleigh Waters QLD 4220.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the kitchen team in food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and dicing ingredients

Ensuring a clean and orderly kitchen environment by carrying out general cleaning duties

Maintaining proper food storage and handling procedures to uphold food safety standards

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or in a similar role within the Hospitality & Tourism industry but not must

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation

Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Good communication skills and a positive, customer-service oriented attitude

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
