Join Our Team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager – Eyre Ward B
Take the next step in your nursing career at Port Lincoln Hospital. We’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join our Eyre Ward B team. In this dynamic leadership role, you'll guide and support a diverse team, enhance patient care, and contribute to continuous improvement within a vibrant and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As an ANUM, you will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality care across the ward. You’ll assist with leadership duties, including:
- Coordinating daily operations and ensuring continuity of care
- Implementing practice changes and managing staffing, rostering, and leave
- Mentoring and developing staff, including students and less experienced nurses
- Managing performance processes and supporting team members in their professional growth
What We’re Looking For:
- Current registration as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- At least 3 years post-registration experience, or classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills
- Proven ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
- Experience in staff supervision and knowledge of healthcare legislation and quality improvement systems

Port Lincoln Hospital a modern 48-bed hospital complete with Special Care unit, Chemotherapy/Renal dialysis Unit and Operating Rooms facilities. There is a wide range of visiting surgeons and the facility provides medical, special care, surgical, obstetric, palliative care and services for children. Situated in a beautiful coastal location, Port Lincoln Hospital is one of four rural general hospitals in South Australia, and has a range of clinical specialties along with a large and stable workforce.
