Position: Senior Estimator – Commercial & Fitout Projects
Location: Sydney CBD | Employment Type: Full-Time | Salary: $120,000 - $150,000

This is not a back-office estimating position you’ll lead a high-performing pre-construction team, manage client relationships, and take ownership of competitive tenders that win projects. What You’ll Be Doing

Lead and mentor a team of estimators across multiple commercial and fitout projects.

Oversee pre-construction activities from contract negotiation through to final submission.

Allocate workloads and ensure estimating deadlines and accuracy are met.

Represent the company in client meetings and tender presentations, building trust and credibility.

Collaborate closely with sales and delivery teams to align on project scope, pricing, and risk.

Track and report key performance indicators to meet business targets and improve team output.

About You

Proven experience as a Senior Estimator or Pre-Construction Manager in commercial construction and/or fitouts.

Strong leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring teams.

Confident in client-facing situations—able to present, negotiate, and build trust at all levels.

Deep knowledge of estimating software, construction methodology, and cost planning.

Commercially savvy with a solid understanding of margins, risk, and profitability.

Organised, proactive, and outcomes-driven.

Experience with Cubit and Bluebeam is preferred.
