About the Role
As a valued member of the People and Culture team, you’ll be instrumental in supporting leaders and teams with practical, day-to-day HR solutions, while also contributing to strategic initiatives that reflect ACER’s mission and values. This role blends operational HR responsibilities with opportunities to influence long-term organisational development.

What You’ll Be Doing
Champion a culture of learning, growth, and innovation.
Provide expert advice and support across recruitment, employee relations, performance, and development.
Lead and contribute to strategic people initiatives, including workforce planning, cultural change, and capability building.
Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver programs that support equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Use data and insights to inform decision-making and continuously improve our people practices.
What You’ll Bring
A postgraduate qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
Proven experience (7 years +) in a generalist HR role, with expertise across the employee lifecycle.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes.
A collaborative mindset and a passion for making a positive impact.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and experience applying it in a practical, people-focused way.
Experience in project management and policy development is highly regarded.
Our offer
This is a full-time ongoing role based at our Camberwell office, conveniently located close to public transport.
We adopt a hybrid working model, with staff spending three days a week in the office and the remaining days working remotely. The starting salary for this position is $132,457 per annum plus 17% superannuation.
