As an HR Business Partner Consultant at IHR Australia, you will play a strategic role in providing tailored HR solutions to some of our diverse client base. This role includes working with one key client (based in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne) whilst working with other iHR Australia clients remotely (WFH). We are requiring a resilient, open minded and pragmatic HR professional who enjoys working hands on with a range of interesting organisations. You will receive strategic guidance and specialist workplace relations support from the iHR Australia team.

What you'll be doing

Providing hands-on HR support across the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.

Acting as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, balancing best-practice HR with a pragmatic approach to existing processes and relationships.

Championing HR initiatives and policies, influencing change through building credibility and consensus.

Working in partnership with a senior iHR Australia consultant to deliver people strategies aligned to business objectives.

Supporting workforce planning and contributing to a positive, engaged workplace culture.

Liaising with iHR Australia experts on the complex workplace relations and compliance matters

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a HR Generalist or Advisor role with a robust understanding of modern employees relations and compliance.

Demonstrated ability to integrate into and effectively support organisations with strong unique cultures.

Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to build trusted relationships on all levels of the organisation.

Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider consultancy-supported HR model.

Resilient and pragmatic approach with a solutions-focused mindset

Open minded with an ability to be objective and business needs focused

HR experience within the production, sales, and/or warehousing environments is highly regarded.
