Be part of the next chapter.
The RoadWise team is evolving and we’re building a structure that’s not just fit for today but set up for the future. Right now, we’re looking for two Senior Coordinators Road Safety to help us develop and deliver products and services that provide specialist support to Western Australian Local Governments.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our operations. You’ll guide and mentor Advisors and Officers, helping them deliver funded services, initiatives and projects that make a real difference to Local Governments across WA.
No two days will look the same. Some days you’ll be brainstorming new strategies with the Manager Road Safety, other days, you’ll be hands-on, supporting your team as they bring those ideas to life. You’ll quickly become the go-to person for advice, support, and expertise, helping your team grow, collaborate, and achieve their best. You’ll also play a key role in engaging with RoadWise Councils, supporting them to adopt evidence-informed road safety actions, and ensuring our programs are delivered to the highest standard.
We’re looking for someone who’s coordinated or supervised others and who has managed projects, ideally in road safety, public health, or a related field. If you know your way around health promotion strategies, have a knack for stakeholder engagement, and can juggle projects and service delivery with ease, you’ll fit right in. Communication is key, and you’ll thrive if you’re collaborative, accountable, and always curious.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your career and help shape the future of road safety in WA, we’d love to hear from you.
This position involves travel within WA and will require a class ‘C’ Western Australian drivers’ licence with a demonstrated safe driving record.
Why you’ll love working here.
In addition to this rare career opportunity, you’ll also get 6 weeks’ (30 days) annual leave and an extra day to celebrate your work anniversary every year. We understand that everyone has a life outside of work, so we provide our employees with flexible working options too.
We pride ourselves on offering a safe and inclusive culture with fantastic workplace benefits and entitlements, including setting budget aside for professional development. What we are most proud of is getting the chance to work on niche projects, with some incredibly talented people, on issues that matter.
WALGA's HQ in West Leederville is centrally located within easy reach of public transport, bike paths and paid parking options. We also have an active social club to cater for all interests, including a book club and trivia nights to name a few.
