Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join a dynamic team working at the cutting edge of big data and customer intelligence. Based in Perth, this is a permanent role for a data expert ready to take the lead on high-impact projects involving behavioral analytics, predictive modeling, and geo-location insights.

You’ll be central to designing and building robust data pipelines and advanced analytics frameworks that power strategic decisions and product innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and reporting solutions using GCP tools (BigQuery, Python), ensuring reliable data flow and system performance.

Contribute to data science projects, including segmentation, predictive models, and recommendation systems, to drive personalized and data-driven decision-making.

Develop custom analytics tools and dashboards that translate complex user behavior and location data into actionable business insights, leveraging GIS and visualization platforms.

Partner with technical and business stakeholders to improve data processes, implement governance standards, and promote best practices across the organization.

Skills and Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, with a strong command of Python and BigQuery for large-scale data processing and insights generation.

Proven ability to lead data-driven projects or teams, guiding initiatives from initial concept through to implementation and delivery.

Background in media or advertising analytics (desirable).

Skilled in building and optimizing data pipelines, including API integration and handling of geo-location and GIS datasets at scale.

Proficient in BI and data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI, and Tableau, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
