About the Company Join a leading mining services company delivering innovative digital solutions that drive operational efficiency across Australia’s resource sector. The team is expanding its in-house software capabilities and is seeking an experienced Senior React Developer to help design, build, and optimise enterprise-grade applications used across the mining industry.

Role Overview You’ll take ownership of front-end development using React, collaborating with backend engineers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to deliver robust, scalable, and user-focused web applications. This role suits someone who enjoys autonomy, technical problem-solving, and working on meaningful projects with real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise modern web interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Next.js
  
  
• Work closely with backend developers (Java) to integrate APIs and data pipelines
  
  
• Drive UI/UX improvements and ensure high standards of usability and performance
  
  
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decisions and best practices
  
  
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD implementation, and agile ceremonies
  
  

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of front-end development experience, including at least 3 years with React
  
  
• Proficiency with JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and component-based architecture
  
  
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs or GraphQL
  
  
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress)
  
  
• Strong understanding of responsive design, performance optimisation, and UX principles
  
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
