Join a Leading Surveying Team Delivering Major WA Projects

NexVentur is partnering with a respected civil and mining contractor to recruit Engineering Surveyors at all levels — from Junior to Senior — for ongoing infrastructure, SMP and earthworks projects across Western Australia.

These are full-time, long-term positions offering both Perth-based and FIFO opportunities, excellent conditions, and clear career progression pathways.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Surveyor or Survey Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate and efficient survey services across a range of large-scale construction and mining projects.

Depending on your experience level, responsibilities include:

Performing engineering, construction and as-built surveys across civil, mining and SMP projects.

Set-outs and design verification, ensuring accuracy and quality.

Establishing and maintaining control networks and machine control files.

Managing and updating underground services data and survey records.

Supporting survey planning, QA documentation and HSEQ compliance.

Maintaining, calibrating and caring for all survey equipment.

(Senior roles) Leading projects, mentoring surveyors, and liaising directly with clients and project managers.

About You

We’re seeking motivated individuals with strong technical ability and a genuine passion for surveying.
Experience levels and qualifications include:

Junior Surveyor: 0–4 years’ experience, Cert III/IV in Surveying & Spatial Science.

Engineering Surveyor: 4–8 years’ experience, Cert IV or Diploma.

Senior Surveyor: 8+ years’ experience, Diploma or Degree, SSSI ESP-AP accreditation (or eligibility).

Proficiency with 12D, Civil3D, Liscad, Carlson Surveys, Navisworks etc.

Hands-on experience with Total Stations, Auto Levels, Laser Surveyors and GPS/GNSS equipment.

Excellent communication, time management and problem-solving skills.
