Role Purpose

As HR Manager for the Brisbane site, you will be the on‑site people leader partnering with the Site Director and leadership team to shape a high‑performance, values‑driven culture. You will own the end‑to‑end HR agenda for a GMP/regulated manufacturing environment, balancing strategic initiatives with hands‑on delivery across the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Lead employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR) matters with pragmatic, fair and compliant advice; manage investigations and case management as required.

Ensure compliance with the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, Modern Awards/EBAs, privacy obligations and WHS legislation (QLD).

Partner with QA/Compliance to embed people practices that support TGA/GMP requirements (training, role competency, controlled documents, audits).

Deliver onboarding, induction and learning programs tailored to a regulated manufacturing setting; maintain training matrices and competency records.

Drive culture, engagement and wellbeing initiatives; support diversity, equity and inclusion priorities.

Oversee remuneration & benefits processes, internal benchmarking, and annual reviews in partnership with Finance.

Implement and optimise HRIS processes and data quality; produce people metrics and insights for site leadership.

Manage contractors and third‑party providers (recruiters, training, EAP) to agreed service levels and budgets.

Champion change management and communications for organisational and process changes.

About You (Skills & Experience)

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business or related field.

5–10+ years’ progressive HR generalist experience, including site‑based support for manufacturing, life sciences, FMCG or other regulated operations.
