The Brisbane Airport Hotels Group encompasses the Pullman, Novotel and ibis Brisbane Airport Hotels, as well as the Brisbane Airport Conference Centre. With 532 guest rooms, 3 restaurants, Rooftop Bar & Restaurant, Executive Lounge and 17 meeting spaces. Located at the Brisbane Airport, it is the first accommodation, meeting and event space to be developed in this precinct.

The group is currently seeking a full-time Human Resources Executive, reporting to the Director of Human Resources. This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to play a key part in driving the success of the Human Resources Department.

Key responsibilities include:

Support the Director of HR to ensure compliance with hotel policies, legislation, and employment regulations.

Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that promote a safe, positive, and inclusive workplace.

Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and probation reviews for all new employees.

Facilitate training programs, apprenticeships, and work placements, ensuring accurate training records are maintained.

Coach leaders on award interpretation, performance reviews, and employee relations matters.

Manage workplace injuries, compensation claims, and return-to-work programs.

Support reward, recognition, and engagement initiatives across all departments.

Conduct exit interviews and assist with performance and disciplinary procedures.

To be successful in this role:

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or working toward).

2+ years of experience in an HR generalist or HR Executive role, ideally within hospitality.

Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practices.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.

A proactive, approachable, and people-focused mindset.
