The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Business Services & Tax team.
This role is ideal for someone ready to take ownership of their client portfolio, provide value-added advisory insights, and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of clients across various industries.

Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns and BAS/FBT returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.

Provide tax planning, structuring and business advisory support to clients.

Review the work of intermediates and graduates, providing training and guidance.

Liaise directly with clients, the ATO, and other regulatory bodies.

Assist managers and partners with complex tax matters, special projects, and compliance reviews.

About You

Minimum 4+ years' experience in a public practice accounting firm.

CA/CPA qualified (or near completion).

Solid understanding of Australian tax and accounting standards.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Experience using Xero, MYOB, or APS preferred.

A proactive attitude and passion for continuous learning and client success.
