Overview

Are you an experienced Design Manager with a strong background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) design?

We are seeking a highly motivated Design Manager to oversee all MEP design phases for new hyperscale data centre construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the MEP design process from concept through to construction and commissioning.
• Work closely with the technical teams on appointing engineering and design consultants and vendors
• Develop engineering and design briefs
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and client teams to ensure the design meets project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the MEP design team, ensuring high-quality design solutions are implemented.
• Review and approve MEP design plans, specifications, and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant local codes, industry standards, and sustainability practices.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or a related field).
• Proven experience as a Design Manager or similar role in large-scale, complex data centre construction projects
• In-depth knowledge of MEP systems design, particularly for data centres
• Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple teams and stakeholders.
