Our client is a leading innovator in manufacturing and distributing long steel products. They are Australia's only fully vertically integrated steel manufacturing utilising scrap metal recycling and downstream distribution. They provide metal recycling solutions to a broad range of scrap metal generators such as householders, local government, mining, demolition, industrials, automotive recyclers, waste companies.

Their Minto and Wetherill Park sites which specialises in aluminium and copper metals recycling are seeking experienced forklift drivers with high reach experience to assist with yard work. Must be able to pass a full physical and drug and alcohol test.

Day shifts are on offer 7:30am to 3:30pm with overtime available. This is a TEMP TO PERM ROLE offering great job stability.

Key responsibilities:

• Sorting through recycling bins onsite
• General yard work where required
• Operating high reach forklift
• Packing recycled products
• Forklift operation and ensuring to follow safety procedures
• Repetitive manual work including heavy lifting and assorting raw materials
• Willingness to participate with competency-based training requirements
• Maintenance and cleaning of the recycling yard

Essential Criteria

• Forklift license/ticket is essential
• Experience operating excavators and skid steers is highly regarded
• Must have a can-do mindset and be open to continued learning
• Administrative skills an advantage
• Problem solving and troubleshooting where required
• General warehouse duties
• Available Monday to Friday
