SLH are working with a well known manufacturer based on the Central Coast who have multiple vacancies for Labourers & Forklift Operators. There are two shift patterns available and overtime on weekend (not compulsory):

Dayshift: 6am to 3pm
Afternoon Shift: 3pm to 12am

You will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Use of hand and power tools such as sledge hammer, drills etc
• Concrete patching and repairs
• Preparation of molds and forms, including cleaning, assembling, oiling, and setting reinforcement cages or steel mesh.
• Operation of forklifts - using tynes, clamps and turntables (for forklift operators)
• Support other yard activities such as stacking, labelling and general hour keeping
• Meet daily production targets

What you need to succeed:

• Experience in a manufacturing, precast concrete, or construction environment (preferred but not always essential)
• Ability to safely handle heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures and commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow supervisor instructions effectively.
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new processes or machinery.

Additional requirements for forklift operators:

• Valid forklift licence (LF) – experience operating forklifts with tynes, slippers, or clamps.
