Our brand new purpose built Gregory Hills Two centre is a 197 place centre, which is anticipated to open in early 2026.

Our purpose built Gregory Hills One centre has been rated all seven areas of exceeding in the 2023 Assessment & Rating.

Our Five Dock centre is proudly rated as exceeding in the 2021 Assessment & Rating.

Vacant position

We are looking for passionate and motivated Centre Chef / Cook and Kitchen Assistant to come and join our brand new Gregory Hills Two centre to provide healthy and nutritious meals to the children in our care.

Responsibilities:

Plan and prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children, adhering to dietary guidelines and any specific dietary requirements or allergies.

Ensure health and safety guidelines are adhered to in the kitchen, including food preparation and servicing areas.

Maintain kitchen cleanliness, ensuring that general day to day procedures are followed.

Manage inventory, order food supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.

Collaborate with the centre director and staff to develop menus that meet the nutritional needs of children.

Adhere to all health and safety regulations and Raising Stars Early Learning Centre's policies.

What you will bring:

Experience as a cook, preferably in a childcare or school setting.

Knowledge of child nutrition and dietary needs.

Strong organization and time management skills.

Valid Working with Children Check (can be easily done online).

Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
