Nunawading Swimming Club

A real coaching job. A real coaching future.
Approx. 15 hours per week | Nunawading Swimming Club
You’ve already started your coaching journey. You’ve got enough experience to know that this is more than a side gig — it’s what you want to do. You want to keep learning, keep growing, and build a proper career in coaching.
But you don’t get there alone.
At Nunawading Swimming Club, you’ll be part of one of Victoria’s largest and best-connected coaching teams. You’ll learn inside a program built over decades — a program that produces skilled coaches, not just faster swimmers.
This role is purposeful: you’ll refine your craft working with young swimmers aged 8–12 in a club that values quality coaching at every level of swimming. Helping kids love swimming and improve each week is where great coaches prove their impact.
This isn’t a “pick up a few extra hours” role.
It’s a genuine step into a coaching system where ambition is recognised, supported and expected.
Your coaching future needs the right platform. This is it.
You Will
Lead your own junior squads with guidance from experienced senior coaches
Apply strong fundamental technique and foster great training habits
Build your planning, communication and leadership skills
Run well-structured sessions that kids enjoy and return to
Represent the professional coaching standards Nuna is known for
Every session, you’ll be becoming the coach you want to be.
Who You Are
Around 1–2 years’ squad coaching experience already behind you
Driven to build a swim coaching career — not fill spare hours
Confident leading groups and keen to keep improving
Reliable, proactive and energised by working in a team that cares about excellence
Excited to be part of something bigger than yourself
You’re here to move forward. We’re here to make sure you do.
