We have two Recreation and Aquatic centres in Melbourne's East (Mont Albert & Ringwood), including: swimming and learn-to-swim facilities, gym and fitness facilities, tenpin bowling facilities, childcare and vacation care facilities, dance/karate/recreation facilities.

Our NEW facilities at Mont Albert North opened in Jan 2023 and are now well established and growing. Our programs have grown by over 50% in the last year! We're now planning on onboarding another 10-15 staff between Oct 2025 - Feb 2026 in preparation for all the extra programs starting and growing in 2026!

SWIMMING TEACHER ROLES are responsible for:

Teaching students swimming and water safety skills progressively and safely, according to the age and ability of the student.

Including:

NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. WE WILL TRAIN. WE ARE ACCREDITED TO HELP YOU OBTAIN YOUR SWIM TEACHING QUALIFICATION. Candidates can do their practical training and qualification on-site.

Work is available during school hours, afterschool, and weekends.

This role can be part time or casual, or full time if combined with other roles such as customer service.

CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER ROLES are responsible for:

Immediately responding to customers’ needs or concerns to ensure the quality of service meets high standards at all times.

Including:

Welcoming clients to the centre.

Assisting clients with their enquiries.

Making bookings.

Taking payments.

Showing clients through the centre.

Telephone Operation.

Customer Service Officers possess excellent customer service skills, organisational skills and enjoy working in a service-orientated role.

A general interest in maintaining a healthy lifestyle through exercise and physical recreation is preferred, but not mandatory.

This role can be part time or casual, or full time if combined with other roles such as swim teaching or gym instructor.

GYM & GROUP EXERCISE INSTRUCTORS are responsible for:

Providing exercise and fitness instruction to improve physical ability and quality of life, progressively and safely, according to the health considerations and ability of the client.

These roles create tailored fitness and wellness plans for individuals and groups. Fitness instructors assign exercise routines based on clients’ physical needs and monitor their progress.

Must have Cert III or Cert IV qualifications in fitness / personal training, or equivalents.

Gym Instructors and Group Exercise Instructors possess excellent skills in health and fitness including: Identify the clients’ fitness level and health; Oversee completion of exercise routines; Track clients’ physical progress; Modify exercise plans based on needs, potential injuries or health issues; Conduct individual and group fitness training sessions; Adopt a holistic training approach (e.g. cardiovascular exercise, strength); Oversee the use of fitness equipment to ensure clients exercise properly and safely; and Handle nutrition and health-related questions.
