The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager (Sales) to lead our commercial cleaning sales function and drive national growth. This role is ideal for a professional with strong networks, strategic thinking, and a proven ability to close high-value contracts in the facilities management or property services sector.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and secure new business opportunities across multiple sectors.

Lead and mentor a sales team to achieve growth targets.

Develop and present compelling solutions at boardroom level.

Manage the full bid/tender process in collaboration with the bid team.

Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.

Develop pricing structures and maintain market trend awareness.

Prepare, estimate, and negotiate commercially viable contracts.

Exceed KPIs and revenue targets consistently.

Work closely with marketing, finance, and operations to align strategies.

Report directly to the Group Managing Director – Business Development.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

10+ years’ experience in commercial cleaning sales, with a proven record of driving revenue growth.

Experience within the FM (Facilities Management) or real estate services sectors.

Expertise in managing tender processes and working with bid teams.

Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in CRM software and data-driven sales management.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Deep understanding of the Australian commercial cleaning and property services market.
