About the role

At The Clown Company We are looking for a fun and engaging Party Hosts to join our team. As a Party Host, you will be responsible for bringing joy and laughter to children's parties and events in Western Sydney area Full training in Face Painting Balloon Twisting and party hosting provided for the right applicants, along with on the job paid training with experienced entertainers who will guide and encourage you.

This is a casual position, weekends some possible week nights allowing you the flexibility to work around other commitments.

What you'll be doing

Hosting and entertaining at children's birthday parties and corporate events- include Bunnings stores, childcares, clubs and pubs and more.

Performing interactive games, Face Painting and Balloon twisting and if applicable will also be trained in magic aswell.

Training will be provided in face painting and balloon twisting skills for successful candidates.

Dressing up in colourful, clown elf and princess and superhero costumes to create a memorable experience for the guests

Ensuring the an engaging fun time of all attendees during the event

Maintaining a positive, energetic, and professional demeanour throughout the event

Setting up and packing up party equipment and decorations as needed

What we're looking for

Experience in entertainment, performance, or customer service roles, or childcare, an asset but preference will be given to the most enthusiastic -great for Uni students

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and interact with children

Applicants must be 18 years or older to be considered for this position.

A fun, outgoing, and playful personality that can captivate an audience

Creativity and the ability to think on your feet to adapt to different party situations

Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, possible evenings and weekends

A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation an asset, although time management is a greater asset.

A valid Working with Children Check is required before commencing employment.
