Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for passionate and energetic restaurant professionals and all-rounders to join our team, including Hosts, Bar Team, Floor Team, Baristas, Bar Backs and Kitchen Assistants.

Whether you are greeting guests at the door, crafting drinks, running food, supporting the bar team, or assisting the kitchen, you understand that true hospitality is about teamwork, care, and energy in every detail.

We welcome applications from both experienced hospitality professionals and those new to the workforce.

If you are new to the industry, please specify this in your application and include the position you are applying for. What matters most is enthusiasm, reliability, and a genuine love for hospitality, everything else can be taught.

Important Location Note

The Joey is located in Palm Beach, around 1.5 hours from Sydney CBD. Public transport options are limited, so please consider your ability to travel to and from the venue before applying.

Your Role

Hosts: Be the first face our guests see, setting the tone with confidence, warmth, and attention to detail.

Bar Team: Mix, pour, and craft drinks that bring our coastal Mediterranean vibe to life.

Floor Team: Deliver seamless, polished service and create moments guests remember long after they leave.

Baristas: Pour coffee with speed, care, and consistency while bringing warmth and energy to every interaction.

Bar Backs: Support the bar team by keeping service areas stocked, clean and ready for action.

Kitchen Assistants: Work alongside our chefs to prepare, plate, and keep the kitchen running smoothly. You will also assist with cleaning, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all kitchen areas remain organised, hygienic and ready for service.

All-Rounders: Jump in where needed — supporting floor, bar or kitchen teams with energy and teamwork.

You will also help build a positive, team-focused environment, sharing knowledge, supporting others and upholding the high standards that define The Joey experience.
