Salary:
$165,727 + superannuation + regional allowance if based regionally.
The Role
Drive the optimisation and support of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) and other core business systems to boost performance, streamline workflows, and improve data integrity. You’ll configure, integrate, and enhance systems to deliver smarter, more efficient operations and ensure technology aligns with Southern Ports’ strategic direction.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Resolve technical issues related to D365 F&O and other business systems.
Provide end-user support, answering questions, and offering training as needed.
Investigate and resolve system bugs, performance issues, and data inconsistencies.
Collaborate with vendors and technology teams to escalate and address complex technical problems.
Participate in the design, testing, and deployment of new D365 F&O modules or features.
Plan and execute the regular updates from Microsoft for D365 F&O and other related systems, typically on a twice-a-year cadence.
Configure and manage security roles, permissions, and access controls within D365 F&O and other systems.
Required
Bachelor's degree in relevant field or relevant tertiary qualification and equivalent experience
3+ years of hands-on experience with D365 F&O including configuration, customisation, and support.
Experience in executing system updates and patches including planning, testing, and deploying updates with minimal disruption.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Certification
Preferred
ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation certification or higher
Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Experience in managing or supporting business intelligence tools such as Power BI.

Provide a National Police Certificate that is within a 6-month period.

About Southern Ports Authority
The Southern Ports Authority was established on the 1st of October 2014 following the merger of the Albany Port Authority, Bunbury Port Authority, and Esperance Port Authority.
The legislation enabling the merger of the ports, The Ports Legislation Amendment Act 2014, was given Royal Assent on 20 May 2014.
The merger of the previous three port authorities was initiated by a comprehensive review of Western Australia’s ports commissioned in 2010. The scope of the review was to look at all matters concerning port operations, port governance and port performance to ensure that Western Australia’s ports could continue to respond to the demands of the State’s rapidly growing economy.
