About the Role
An established, reputable dental practice in Moorabbin is seeking an experienced Senior Dental Assistant to join their friendly and motivated team. You’ll be responsible for providing high-level chairside support, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

Chairside assisting across a range of general and specialist procedures

Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms and instruments to high infection control standards

Assisting with digital imaging and intraoral scanning

Supporting the dentist with patient management and clinical efficiency

Overseeing sterilisation processes and compliance

Training and mentoring junior dental assistants

Providing exceptional patient care and communication

About You

Minimum 3 years’ dental assisting experience (Certificate III or IV preferred)

Confident, proactive, and team-oriented

Excellent understanding of infection control and sterilisation procedures

Strong communication and organisational skills

Comfortable with dental software and digital technology

A positive attitude and commitment to delivering quality care
