We are a specialist paediatric dental practice based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne in Balwyn North, providing evidence-based, compassionate care guided by the most current paediatric dental guidelines.
We have been practicing in the area with over 20 years of experience in Paediatric dentistry. Our clinicians also hold positions at the Royal Children's Hospital and teach postgraduate students in paediatric dentistry at the University of Melbourne.
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position.
We are growing due to an increased clinical load and because two of our wonderful auxiliary team members are moving into the next chapter of their careers, one graduating as a dentist and another commencing dentistry. Dental Nurse with Health Promotion
A rewarding opportunity for an experienced dental nurse who loves working with children and believes in the power of prevention and education.
Working with Children Check must be obtained within 30 days of commencing employment.
You will:
Support the specialist team with chairside treatment, nitrous oxide sedation, and hospital-based procedures under general anaesthesia.
Lead and participate in oral health promotion activities within the practice
Help children and parents feel comfortable, supported and informed.
You have:
1+ years dental assisting experience, in general or specialist practice
Certificate III Dental Assisting qualification is required
A keen interest in sedation and general anaesthesia procedures
Excellent communication, empathy and professionalism
A proactive approach and genuine passion for children's oral health
An eye for detail and accuracy in all aspects of your tasks
Dental Receptionist / Clinical Coordinator
This role is ideal for a warm, organised professional who brings calm, care and structure to busy clinical days.
You will:
Be the welcoming face and voice of the practice
Manage scheduling, patient communication and daily coordination
Experience with practice management software is preferred but training will be provided
Support families, many of whom have had a long and emotional journey, with empathy and clarity
Represent our values and care philosophy with pride
You have:
Extensive experience in dental reception and/or clinical coordination
A minimum of 3-4 years of extensive experience in dental reception and/or clinical coordination is required
Strong organisational and multitasking ability with high accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine love for children and making families feel at ease
