Group Program and Partnerships Coordinator
Location: Lismore, NSW
Hours: 35 hours / week Monday to Friday
Classification: SCHADS Award Level 5–6
Contract: Fixed-Term to 30 June 2027, with the possibility to extend based on funding

Women's Health Northern Rivers (WHNR) is a feminist, community-based charity providing inclusive, trauma-informed health and wellbeing services to women across the Northern Rivers region.
We are seeking a skilled and values-driven Group Program and Partnerships Coordinator to join our team. This is a key role for someone who brings experience in group facilitation, program coordination, and stakeholder engagement, and who is passionate about supporting women's wellbeing through collaborative, community-based approaches.
About the Role
The Group Program and Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for coordinating WHNR's therapeutic, educational, and support-based group programs. You'll oversee group intake, ensure clinical governance standards are upheld, and work closely with the Clinical Lead to support safe and effective group delivery.
You'll also facilitate groups directly and collaborate with community partners to support and enhance program delivery. The role includes informal team leadership and contributes to service development, reporting, and evaluation.
What We're Looking For
Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, or a related field (e.g., OT, Mental Health Nursing) and current registration with the appropriate professional body
Experience coordinating and facilitating group programs using evidence-based modalities such as DBT, CBT, Acceptance Therapy in clinical settings or community settings
Strong organisational and time management skills
Understanding of clinical governance and risk management in group contexts
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in program development, partnership building and maintaining effective partnerships
Commitment to trauma-informed, feminist, and culturally safe practice
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Experience working in women's health or with diverse populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, CALD communities, and LGBTQIA+ individuals (desirable)
Knowledge of the Northern Rivers service landscape (desirable)
