LocalKind is seeking a compassionate and skilled Community Drop-In Coordinator to lead our flagship Drop-In service, a safe, welcoming space for people experiencing homelessness, domestic and family violence, mental health challenges, and social isolation.

In this hands-on role, you'll coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Drop-In, support community members in crisis, and lead a team of passionate volunteers. You'll bring strong communication, de-escalation and crisis response, and organisational skills, along with a genuine commitment to kindness and inclusion.

Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in community services or social work.

Australian work rights are required for this position.

Experience in managing challenging behaviours is essential

A current Working with Children Check or equivalent background screening is required.

A minimum of Informal leadership experience is required for managing volunteers effectively.
