Our Opportunity

As we continue to expand and grow our team, an exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Surveyors to join the Linke & Linke Surveys team working on challenging and complex projects based in and around Sydney. There is also the opportunity for FIFO opportunities in rural NSW. Our roles can be based in Australia (mainly NSW) and as we are in Civil construction, there may be a need to travel on occasion. All our roles give the successful candidate the opportunity to utilise and further develop their Surveying skills. We are willing to consider Surveyors at all levels in their career whether a Survey Technician to a Project Surveyor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing fieldwork, calculations, data processing, including liaison with clients and communication with the business or supervising more junior surveyors depending on level of experience.

About You

We are seeking a highly motivated Surveyor with the following:

Must be qualified either at university or TAFE in Surveying or Qualifications in Surveying recognised in Australia

Demonstrated successful experience in a surveying role

Minimum 1-2 years of surveying experience required

Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment and software

An eye for detail and thorough checking work to ensure accuracy

Excellent time management skills

Ability to collaborate with other professionals, requiring the ability to work effectively in a team and share information

Good communication skills - Surveyors need to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences, which requires clear and concise verbal and written communication

As you would work in different environments and with various clients at different times and locations (which could include night shift and possible FIFO), this role requires the ability to be flexible, adjust communication style and approach to suit different situations

Ability to work long days and overtime if required including some weekends if required

A valid Australian Driver's licence or ability to drive in Australia and travel / Police Check / Drug testing may be required
