Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement WHS strategies across all AWA sites.
• Review and improve safety systems, policies, and procedures.
• Identify and mitigate workplace hazards through proactive analysis.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Deliver engaging WHS training and promote a strong safety culture.
• Manage injury and workers’ compensation processes.
• Collaborate with external WHS partners to stay ahead of best practices.

About You

• 3 years’ experience in Work, Health, and Safety.
• Knowledgeable in WHS legislation and risk management.
• Eager to learn, grow, and make a meaningful contribution.
• A great communicator with strong organisational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and WHS reporting systems.
• Passionate about creating safe, inclusive workplaces.
• Experience in aged care, health, disability, or community services and familiarity with incident management systems are highly regarded.
