Join the Library and Research Service at the Department of the Legislative Assembly as a Senior Researcher (AO7) and play a key role in supporting the work of the Northern Territory’s parliament. You’ll provide high-quality, impartial research, analysis and resources to Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), helping to inform debate, scrutinise policy and committee work.

This ongoing full-time role is based at Parliament House in Darwin. You’ll lead a small team, manage research priorities, and build strong stakeholder relationships. The role requires a high level of professionalism and integrity, with a proven ability to maintain confidentiality and impartiality when supporting MLAs across the political spectrum. If you have excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills – and a passion for public policy – we want to hear from you.
