Mine site and Roster:

With an expected mine life past 2030 join a leading principal principal who own and operate the mine. Also enjoy:

• FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns
• Great camp accommodation and meals provided
• Wet mess, gym, tennis court and other camp facilities
• A mine with close proximity to the airport, minimizing your travel
• Travel in company time on day shift, flying in and out on their watch

Duties and team:

Join a crew of 10 experienced diesel fitters on site, reporting into the leading hand on crew you will be responsible for;-

• Surface workshop duties including servicing, maintenance, component changeouts
• Underground breakdowns as well as repairs and servicing in the underground workshop
• Looking after a range of Sandvik load and haul fleet plus drills as well as charge up equipment and IT's.

Your skills and experience

You will be trade qualified in light vehicle or heavy diesel with a minimum 1-2 years experience working civil, road transport or agricultural - whether that be light or heavy equivalent. Most importantly you will;-

• Have an eagerness to continue/learn the UG hard rock mining sector
• UG hard rock mining experience is highly regarded however not essential
• Have an excellent attitude towards work and developing new skills
• Be a team player and enjoy working with likeminded individuals
• Have the ability to work autonomously and a willingness to "have a go"
• Prioritises safety as number one
