Fieldy's Heavy Equipment Services is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter for a casual FIFO role based in Newman, WA 6753. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company in the mining industry, working on a diverse range of heavy machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repair on a variety of heavy diesel equipment including earth movers, haul trucks, and other mining machinery

Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, and carry out necessary repairs to restore equipment to optimal working condition

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used

Work collaboratively with the wider maintenance team to ensure efficient operations

What We're Looking For

Relevant trade qualifications as a Heavy Diesel Fitter or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Substantial experience (minimum 5 years) repairing and maintaining heavy mobile equipment in a mining or resources setting

Strong technical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to problem-solve complex mechanical issues

Commitment to workplace health and safety, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks

A flexible, adaptable approach to work and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Willingness to work on a FIFO roster in the Newman, WA 6753 region
