The ICT Environments Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, design, provisioning, and governance of test environments across multiple delivery streams. This role requires hands-on technical expertise in infrastructure and automation, alongside strong stakeholder engagement skills to collaborate with Solutions Delivery Program, Project and Test Managers, as well as other key roles in the Service Delivery team.
The manager will ensure environments are stable, secure, and aligned with project test requirements and schedules, including integration with non-production Active Directory for user access control. The role also drives continuous improvement, compliance, and cost efficiency across environment operations.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• 5+ years’ experience in Release and Environment management including modern deployment practices using Azure Services, Pipelines, Containers, and Service Virtualisation, as well as on-Prem processes.
• Experience with automation and integrating workflows.
• Has demonstrated experience in working and integrating with SaaS products.
• Experience of data migration between environments and data masking.
• Experience in Cloud Tenancy Modelling and Management.
• Design and implement release processes using modern deployment techniques.
• Develop guidelines and educate teams on expectations when releasing.
• Actively seek out opportunities to improve the overall service of the release process.
• Baseline key metrics related to Release and Environments and seek to improve on them.
• Ensure that delivery teams do not have elongated times for using environments.
• Defining best-practice standards around releases and DevOps practices to key external vendors.
• Provide quality assurance checks and balances across deliverables at varying stages of the delivery cycle.
