Employment Term: Full-time, Maximum Term until 30 June 2026

Location: Based at Southport | Monday to Friday, 6.00am – 2.00pm

Remuneration: $88k + super + NFP salary packaging of up to $15,900 and $2,650 for meals and entertainment

Do you have a passion to work with adults and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness on the Gold Coast? Would you like to be a part of an organisation that is client focussed and strategically connected to the coal face, with a clear commitment to reducing homelessness and opportunities for your professional development?

We are currently seeking a Case Worker to join our Gold Coast Homelessness Service in our After Hours team, on a max term full-time basis until June 2026.

The applicant will have experience working with people experiencing homelessness, including rough sleepers. They will be competent in identifying and understanding risks posed to children, as well as how to respond to effectively safeguard children. They will be able to work autonomously as well as participate in and contribute to an established team of professionals.

This program works across Monday to Sunday, outside regular business hours as we operate on a 24/7 service delivery model and based from Southport. Current position available is within Monday to Friday.

What makes a difference for us?

Ideally, you have 2 years experience of paid or volunteer work with people experiencing homelessness and a subsequent sound understanding of the contributing factors of homelessness.

You must have excellent verbal communication skills that enable you to assess needs accurately and extensively as well as transferable written communication skills to record assessments on the database.

You must have a tertiary qualification in human services, community services, Youth Services or related field.

A basic level of competence with technology is also required.
