About the Opportunity
As Program Manager you will oversee the Intensive Youth Homelessness Options Pathway (IYASS), Youth Housing Options Pathways Program (YHOPP) and Register of Appropriate Support Persons (RASP), ensuring high-quality service delivery, staff supervision, and program development in Katherine. This role includes direct case work, stakeholder engagement, and participation in a 24/7 RASP response roster.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team supporting young people aged 10–25
- Deliver intensive case management and assertive outreach
- Promote youth participation, empowerment, and informed decision-making
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and community partnerships
- Ensure compliance with legislation, reporting, and quality standards
To be successful you will hold:
- Relevant qualifications in youth, community, or human services
- At least 4 years’ experience in youth work and program management
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed practice, youth justice, and homelessness
- Proven leadership, crisis management, and staff development skills
- Prior experience or, at a minimum, demonstrated commitment to working respectfully with Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse clients, communities, staff, and Aboriginal Controlled Organisations

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must provide 100 points of identification to confirm Australian citizenship or eligibility to work in Australia; possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a current National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a valid NT driver’s licence.
Experience of working closely with and having a strong understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture would be considered an advantage.
