An exciting 12-month maternity leave contract is available for an experienced Business Services Accountant to join a supportive, close-knit team. This role offers complete flexibility to work remotely, with access to a serviced office when required.

You’ll take over a well-managed client portfolio from a Senior CA Accountant (15 years’ experience) who will be commencing maternity leave mid-January. The work is largely compliance-focused.

Duties include:

• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and SMSFs
• Managing a portfolio, including one complex pharma industry group
• BAS, IAS

About You:

• You are a capable, technically astute accountant who can work autonomously
• Excellent at learning new software
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Services / Tax within public practice
• Strong working knowledge of MYOB AE
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work remotely with minimal supervision - must be self-motivated to work from home
• CA/CPA qualified
