Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role within the marketing team at Novita Diamonds. You’ll have the chance to make a real impact across all areas of marketing - from social media content creation to international campaigns. You will collaborate with and support the Marketing Manager to drive engagement and ensure consistency across all campaigns, platforms, and regions.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a versatile, creative, and proactive Digital Marketing & Content Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager, helping to plan, create, and execute engaging campaigns across social media and other marketing channels. The ideal candidate is independent, enthusiastic, willing to learn, and comfortable both behind and in front of the camera. You should also have a strong understanding of social media algorithms and how to optimise content for reach, engagement, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media & Content Creation
- Plan, create, and schedule posts across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Facebook.
- Produce engaging photo and video content for posts, reels, stories, and ads.
- Edit content using tools like Canva, Photoshop, CapCut, or equivalent.
- Understand and apply social media algorithms to optimise content performance.
- Stay up-to-date on trends to ensure content is innovative and relevant.
- Monitor and engage with our online community.

Photography & Videography
- Capture high-quality product photos and videos for social media, website, and campaigns.
- Conceptualise and execute creative photoshoots, including product styling and lighting.
- Edit and optimise content to maintain consistent branding and platform requirements.

International Marketing Support
- Translate and adapt content from English into Spanish and German for overseas social media channels (if applicable).
- Ensure cultural relevance and brand consistency across all regions.

Collaboration & Campaign Support
- Brainstorm and assist in implementing new campaign ideas.
- Provide support to the Marketing Manager as needed.
- Work autonomously while taking initiative to improve processes and propose creative solutions.

Required Skills & Attributes:

- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Facebook.
- Deep understanding of social media algorithms and how to optimise content for reach and engagement.
- Experience creating and editing content with Canva, Photoshop, Lightroom, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or equivalent tools.
- Comfortable in front of the camera for recording videos.
- Strong creative mindset with a passion for content creation, storytelling, and visual branding.
- Excellent English writing skills.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating as part of a small team.
- Initiative-driven, with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn and grow.

Bonus:

- Experience with email marketing (EDMs) including Mailchimp and basic HTML coding.
- Experience creating and editing long-format videos (YouTube).
- Experience creating content for ads.
- Experience in the jewellery or luxury industry.
