About the role

Multiple positions available for male and female support workers and receptionist position.

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position.

We are seeking a Casual Support Worker to join our team at Three Points Core Support & Services PTY LTD in Townsville, Queensland. This is a casual position, providing in-home support services to clients within the aged and disability care sector.

What you'll be doing

Providing personalised, high-quality support services to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and social engagement

Working with Vulnerable People check must be obtained within 30 days of commencement

Advocating for clients' rights and ensuring their dignity, independence, and wellbeing are prioritised

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and secure environment for clients and colleagues

Collaborating with the wider care team to develop and implement individualised care plans

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation

Actively participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar caregiving or support worker role within the aged and/or disability care sector

A demonstrated understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals within the aged and disability community

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and empathise with clients

A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine commitment to promoting the independence and wellbeing of clients

Current First Aid and CPR certification, or the willingness to obtain these

First Aid and CPR certification must be obtained before commencing employment if not currently held

A valid driver's licence and reliable means of transportation

Any relevant Certificate III qualification is required
