The role

We are seeking male casual support workers to work with a male client with complex mental health diagnoses.

You will support our client :

to participate in age-appropriate activities and tasks including employment, in home support and community access.

To access activities and outings in the community.

Provide direct care assistance in accordance with their service plan and as directed by the Manager.

Work in accordance with the medication administration policy, work health and safety.

A bit about you

You are a male disability support worker with previous industry experience

Excellent communication skills to foster a positive and supportive environment that enhances participant well-being and growth

You have experience working with behaviours of concern and mental health

You have the experience and ability to develop positive relationships with participants and support their Individual Support Plan

Certificate III in Disability or equivalent relevant qualifications

Current First Aid and CPR certifications

NDIS Worker Screening Yellow Card or current Yellow Card

A valid driver’s licence, access to a reliable vehicle, and comprehensive insurance are required.
