Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will play a key role in preparing and assessing credit submissions across the group. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast paced, high performing environment and enjoys working across diverse lending products.

Key Responsibilities include

• Assessing and reviewing loan applications across multiple product lines
• Managing the pipeline of incoming loan applications
• Drafting loan instructions and coordinating with solicitors
• Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve credit processes
• Conducting due diligence in line with credit policies
• Preparing and presenting credit submissions to the credit committee

Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the non-bank or Bank mortgage industry in Australia. Applicants with experience with self employed application experience will be looked upon favourably. To succeed in this role, you will have a sound knowledge of non-bank lending mortgage processing procedures, with an understanding of relevant consumer finance legislation. A Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking is desirable. You will also be able to perform to a high standard with a large volume of tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail, with enhanced negotiation and written and verbal communication skills. Successful candidates will be self-motivated and autonomous, with the ability to contribute to a team environment with superior customer service skills.
