Southern Kitchens WA is a mid-sized cabinetmaking company based in Bibra Lake, completing projects across the Perth metro area — from spec homes to extremely high-end bespoke cabinetry.

We’re currently seeking motivated, reliable and hands-on individuals to join our growing team in the following roles:

🔹 FACTORY HAND

No experience required – no age requirements – ideal for someone fresh out of school.
There’s potential for growth within the business for the right person, depending on work ethic and attitude towards learning and teamwork.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual who’s keen to learn and grow within the cabinetry industry.

Duties include:

General factory maintenance and cleaning

Assisting with loading and delivering jobs to site

Helping team members on various projects

Supporting production when needed (machinery, assembly prep, etc.)

Requirements:

Full driver’s licence (manual preferred)

Reliable and able to work full-time

Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn

Perfect entry-level role for someone who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a great team environment.

🔹 CNC / EDGEBANDER OPERATOR

We’re also looking for an experienced CNC & Edgebander Operator to join our production team.

Duties include:

Programming and operating CNC machinery

Running and maintaining Edgebander operations

Nesting jobs and organising cutting lists

Ordering and arranging materials

Coordinating with production to optimise workflows

Preparing all components ready for assembly

Requirements:

Previous experience operating CNC machinery (essential)

Strong attention to detail and efficiency under pressure

Understanding of cabinetry manufacturing processes

Excellent communication and organisation skills

We have team members working a variety of schedules, including 4-day weeks, 9-day fortnights, early finishes (e.g. 4:30 am–2:30 pm), and some staff on (e.g. 8 am–4:30 pm)

Standard hours are Monday–Thursday 6:00 am–4:00 pm (20 min morning tea, 30 min lunch) and Friday 6:00 am–1:30 pm (1 x 30 min mid-morning break)
