Company Overview:

BuildTek Supplies Pty Ltd specialises in the manufacturing of light gauge steel wall and roof frames for residential housing. We produce components for modular housing in collaboration with projects delivered by our parent company, Providence Lifestyle Group.

We are seeking hands-on Casual Factory Hands to assist our production team and ensure the efficient operation and growth of our expanding manufacturing facility.

Position Summary:

Factory Hands are responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the factory, including machinery. The role involves assisting with the production of lightweight steel framing, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

The assembly of lightweight frames.

Operate machinery and equipment as required (training provided).

Assist in loading and unloading goods.

Follow workplace health and safety guidelines at all times.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the work area.

Support team members to ensure efficient production.

Promote a positive OHS culture in the workplace.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols by self and others.

Qualifications:

C or C-A Class driver's licence.

Steel frame production experience highly regarded.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks (including physical).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Forklift license desirable.
