About the role

This is a dynamic, predominantly front-of-house role with some scope to assist clinically as needed. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys patient interaction, thrives on variety, and is eager to grow within a specialist dental environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Greeting patients, managing appointments, coordinating treatment plans, processing payments and handling patient enquiries

Overseeing sterilisation and instrument processing, and ensuring all infection control and clinical workflows meet the highest standards

Working with our team to refine and streamline processes as the practice grows

Where required, chairside assistance during prosthodontic treatments: preparing rooms, handing instruments, supporting the specialist and/or the senior dental assistant

About you

You’re a positive, proactive individual who takes pride in delivering excellent patient service and enjoys working as part of a small team where your contribution is appreciated.

You’ll ideally have:

Minimum 2+ years experience as a dental receptionist and/or dental assistant; experience in a specialist environment is a plus

Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (preferred but not essential if you bring strong skills and willingness to learn)

Warm, professional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues

Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and comfort working across administrative and clinical tasks

Ability to learn new systems and software, and a mindset geared toward growth and continuous improvement
