The Opportunity
Are you a systems-minded problem solver who enjoys turning data and processes into smarter business solutions? We’re looking for a Municipal Systems Analyst to join our team and play a key role in improving how our systems support operations, reporting, and service delivery.
In this role, you’ll bridge the gap between technology and operations — identifying, analysing, and implementing system improvements that enhance efficiency and data accuracy across our municipal contracts.
This is a full time permanent opportunity based in North Melbourne with a salary of $80,000 including superannuation.
What you’ll be doing:

 - Diagnose and resolve system and data issues, ensuring minimal disruption and preventing escalations.
 - Provide IT application support, updates, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
 - Develop and maintain reporting infrastructure for internal and external stakeholders.
 - Create and review training materials and support staff with ongoing system training.
 - Promote a positive, collaborative, and solutions-focused team environment.
 - Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to ensure system alignment with business goals.

About You
- Experience in systems analysis, data reporting, or application support (preferably in operations, logistics, or municipal environments).
 - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for process improvement.
 - Confident using and supporting business applications and reporting tools.
 - Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical details into business language.
 - A collaborative team player with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset.

Why join Cleanaway?
- Competitive salary package
 - Supportive and safe work environment
 - Paid parental leave
 - Great company benefits: Employee share program, company discounts, salary packaging, flu vaccinations, EAP, discounts on private health insurance and more.
