Your New Role
You will be responsible for:
- Working with participants/applicants to gather information regarding the nature and context of review requests.
- Informing participants/applicants and their representatives about decisions, reviews, and the appeals process.
- Preparing evidence-based decision-making as prescribed in the NDIS Act, NDIS rules, Operational Guidelines and NDIA policies.
- Monitoring and managing caseloads, ensuring internal reviews are completed within set timeframes.
- Contributing to quality improvement activities to enhance service delivery practice, processes, and systems.
What You'll Need to Succeed
The successful application will also demonstrate skills in:
- Ability to coordinate competing requests and demands, setting prioritises and managing workflow
- Responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and achieving outcomes
- Perform objective and systemic research and analysis to obtain accurate conclusions based on evidence
- Ability to follow well-defined and detailed policies, technical or professional guidelines and accepted practice or precedents to achieve specific results
- Make decisions requiring evaluative judgement and may involve tailoring work methods, interpreting and adapting existing procedures and practices to achieve results
- Communicate with and provide advice and recommendations to a wide variety of customers and external stakeholders
Logistics
- 12-month contract with possibility of permanency or extension
- Hybrid working and flexible working arrangements
- Hourly rate of $55.24 per hour + super
- Available in Geelong, Parramatta, or Newcastle
