Your new role
We have an opportunity for an individual to join our Security & Facilities team as an Administration Officer on a full-time, fixed term basis to 30 June 2026.
Reporting to the Team Leader, the Security and Facilities Administration Officer is responsible for assisting the Facilities, Physical Security, Property and Personnel Security functions, through the provision of administrative support, to ensure the protection of IBAC staff and property.
Duties include:
- Maintain facilities asset registers and coordinate the preparation of asset disposal documents.
- Support the preparation and management of procurement and contract documents, including purchase orders and service agreements.
- With assistance from the Security & Facilities team, coordinate the logistics, movement of assets, and liaison with contractors and service providers.
- Supporting the Senior Property Officer to process and manage physical evidence.
- Provide relief to IBAC's front desk services during breaks and periods of leave

Our requirements / Your skill set
We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:
- Demonstrated experience in facilities management.
- Previous use of a helpdesk/service desk application is desirable.
- Experience using asset management systems.
- Previous use of finance systems to raise purchase orders, process invoices and support sound budget management
- Previous involvement in setting up a new office or supporting an office relocation is highly desirable
Due to the requirement to attain a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance candidates must be an Australian citizen at the time of application.
