InVeris Training Solutions is a leading company in simulated weapon training systems and live fire target systems. Established in Albury 26 years ago, InVeris supports Defence and law enforcement with the supply, maintenance and operations of simulated weapon training systems across Australia.

InVeris is recruiting a full-time IT Cyber Security Officer to join our growing team in Wodonga VIC. This new position is a key role in supporting our ICT systems and cyber security posture. This position is tailored towards a cyber security skillset with Sys Admin experience, as well as a general inclusion of day to day support and administration duties.

Primary duties include:

Implementation and ongoing maintenance and support of ISM ML2 and Essential Eight cyber security frameworks

Cyber incident and threat response

Monitoring and reporting of cyber security compliance and health

Proactive planning and implementation of cyber security controls

Implementing and maintaining highly productive and secure business IT environments

Promoting a cyber security culture within the workplace

Advise and train staff on cyber security practices

General IT administration, support and security of corporate systems, including:

Hybrid on-premises and 365 cloud infrastructure

Cisco and Unifi network products

ManageEngine on-prem and cloud applications

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

SharePoint and Office 365 products

Windows Server and Hyper-V

VoIP systems

Routine software updates including after hours updates and maintenance

Backup and disaster recovery

End user helpdesk support for software & hardware

Development and deployment of Windows SoE’s

We’re looking for candidates that ideally have the following skills and experience:

A tertiary qualification such as a bachelor degree in Computing / Information Technology is required

Experience in a cyber security role is essential

Microsoft MCSE / MCITP / Desktop or Enterprise administrator favourable

Cybersecurity control implementation and support based on the ASD ISM ML2 or higher

Microsoft Windows and Server administration and support

Microsoft 365 platform administration and support

Cyber security planning and documentation

Enablement of secure cyber environments without hindering business productivity
