We are seeking experienced Call or Contact Centre Operators on behalf of a NSW State Government client. his is a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality customer service in a structured, supportive environment. Full training is provided, and successful candidates will work onsite on a rotating roster.

Responsibilities
- Handle general enquiries and provide accurate information to customers
- Deliver a positive customer experience across phone, email, and digital channels
- Maintain accurate records and escalate unresolved issues appropriately
- Support administrative tasks and contribute to continuous improvement
Mandatory Requirements:
- Willingness to obtain National Police Check
- Availability to work onsite in Newcastle – no hybrid options
- Full-time attendance for onsite training is required
Roster Details:
- Early start (e.g. 7:00 AM)
- Mid-shift (e.g. 9:00–10:00 AM)
- Late shift (e.g. 11:00 AM)
- Contractors will be placed on a 2-week rotating roster
- Each shift pattern is worked for 4 weeks, then rotated
- Shifts include:
- No consecutive rosters will have the same shift pattern
Your Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- 2–3 years’ experience in customer service (call centre, admin, or retail)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills (typing, email, MS Outlook & Teams)
- Technically savvy and quick to learn new systems
- Previous government or office-based experience is highly regarded
