Our client is a global leader and manufacturer of artificial turf and synthetic surfaces. We’re looking for a Machine Operator with a Forklift licence to work for our client based in Dandenong South!

About the role:

Day shift: Start 7am - Finish 3pm

Permanent full time position!

On-site car park

Full training provided

Duties include but not limited:

Operating a variety of production machinery within the extrusion plant (including: Backing Line Oven, Tufting Machine, Knitting Machine, Rewinders, Auxiliary Machine & factory utilities).

Flag any Thread/machine faults and aid in repair.

Conduct thorough quality control actions

Maintain a clean and safe workplace

Uphold company SOP’s and OH&S practices

To be considered for this role:

Minimum 1.5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Must have good attitude and desire to learn.

Ability to work as a team.

Forklift licence is highly regarded (or willingness to obtain)

High attention to detail.

Capable of completing the physical demands of the role: Instances of prolonged standing, bending, lifting (up to 20kgs), kneeling, & good eye coordination

Must have your own car and licence
