About the role

GC Pool Professionals' is seeking an experienced Pool Service Technician to join our team in Ashmore, QLD. This is a full-time position responsible for the maintenance and repair of residential and commercial swimming pools. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients' pools are kept in pristine condition all year round.

What you'll be doing

Regularly inspect and service swimming pools, including water testing, chemical balancing, and cleaning of filters and equipment

Troubleshoot and diagnose pool equipment issues, and carry out necessary repairs and maintenance

Provide advice and recommendations to clients on pool care and upkeep

Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards

Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken

Liaise with clients to schedule and coordinate service visits

What we're looking for

Ideally, at least 2 years' experience as a pool service technician

Strong technical knowledge of pool equipment, water chemistry, and pool maintenance procedures

Experienced in installations and plumbing of pool filtration systems

Knowledge of pool automation systems would be advantageous

Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently

Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to clients in a clear and understandable manner

Open car licence required for this position

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
